Video games are currently a $40 billion a year industry
worldwide — now the
fastest growing form of media.
Over 300 million games are sold annually. That's nine video games per
second!
Hundreds of new titles are produced every year for a variety of
platforms: PC,
PlayStation, XBox, Wii, Nintendo DS, free online games, and
more.
Virtually all games
require voice actors! Many games have dozens of speaking parts,
and need artists who are versatile enough to play more than one role.
|
In
this intensive three-week course, veteran VO actor Kevin Delaney will
share all of his tips, tricks, techniques and tactics for booking paid
VO work in the video game field.
Kevin's video game credits include the XT-002 Deconstructor in World of Warcraft, Hercule Poirot
in Agatha Christie's Evil Under the
Sun, Van Helsing & Dracula in Dracula: Origin, the Tournament
Announcer in Disney's Kingdom Hearts
II, and Space Goosey Lucy in Chicken
Little: Ace in Action.

Some
of the
topics we'll cover:
- How to create unforgettable vocal
characterizations
